We are here for you guys. Whenever you want, door is wide open for all visiting pilots. This foto is shot at take off Peña Rubia, midwinter december 2010. More info on our website of course, where a daily blog, already 6 years, keeps you updated of how active we are.
Hope to hear from you. http://www.doyouwanna.net/
I am in a very warm house of my friends in Brugge Belgiu,m; I am surrounded by snow and freezing temperatures; I think most of you are. A very wintery spell so early in the year; as well in Spain. Where the only sunny spot again is Alicante region with its 15 degrees today. I know westernwinds are blowing, so I would be surprised if any of the locals is flying today.
Back on monday when weather should start to settle back to normal. Long term forecast says from wednesday onwards fliable. You miss flying the most when there is absolutely no hill around, no possibility around. Have fun guys, skiing; sledding, throwing snowballs at grandma.
Northwesterly site. Waiting for the sun to shine upon it. Kicked off thermals up to 1600 m ASL, which is about 600 meters above take off.
Thermals were fine and solid, no roughness today. We choose this site first for flying something different,
but also to leave student pilots at ease, while they were doing their club exam.
We never have thermals like this in England, was one of the heard quotes today.
Inland flying. Cloudy but still thermals to be found. Exceptional and out of the blue. We escaped the coast as it was howling there after our morning flight.
